There are 38 councillors on Rother District Council. 5 of these are Liberal Democrats from Bexhill & Battle 2 are Labour councillors and 4 are Independent. The remaining 27 are Conservatives. Most Rother Wards return 2 councillors with the exception of Crowhurst and Ewhurst & Sedlescombe which return just one each.
